Called 2/28/2013, two different people.
First person, (man) asked if I was Sheryl, "" " , I quickly said 'Who is this", that is when another person, (man) got on the phone. It was a smooth transfer of caller. They are professional sounding most con men are. He was looking for donations to a police fund of some kind. Did not mention a Non-profit organization. I would get a police decal for my contribution. I told him I am unemployed, He could care less. His response was " I can send a request for donation of a lesser amount." I just hung up. This is why the legitimate charities may have a hard time fund raising. When trying to track down telephone number on my called ID, I would read different answers. My question is, Why would a non- profit call from a cell phone number??? MC Lean , Va., Thank you for your time.
