They call almost every day; I never answer, and they never leave a message. It's a PAC (Political Action Committee). They hope to find somebody with a soft spot, to "help" veterans, but online documents for Vets First list their fundraising costs (including all of their paid "consultants") as over $400,000 out of $750,000 raised in 2016. They give money to political campaigns, also. I recommend you not answer. Your money can go a lot further to help veterans, if you give locally or research valid, reputable organizations online first. Google "rate charities" for help. SHAME on Vets First, for lining their own pockets at the expense of real vets who need help! Oh, yeah, one more thing. Use the search function at 800notes to search "Vets First PAC", and look at all of the different phone numbers they use! Block them all!!
