Was out when called, CID "LUPUS PICKUP". The last 4 digits don't even spell LUPUS in Dial code. I've blocked the local LUPUS numbers. So they must have asked this out of state number to try. They're not going to pick up used clothing from a 100+ miles away. So they're just trying to beat the call blocks. They didn't leave a message.
Called this morning a little before 10am. I have lupus and I wouldn't donate anything to these idiots. This is the third number they have used, the other two being toll-free numbers. I try to be charitable, but I won't donate anything to charities that cold call people...I choose who I donate to and I contact them, not the other way around. I agree with the other posters here that this is more than likely a scam.

I agree with "The Doctor" too. I won't donate to any charity that constantly cold calls individuals seeking donations! When I have items to be donated, I will call a charity of my choice, not theirs and make arrangements for pickup or drop the items off myself.
