(GENERAT1ON F.C.U NOT1CES) Your acCount #415725/XX has been Block. Please call our customer service at 610-209-1133
Notice that the number that texted me and the customer service number they said to call are the same. I looked up GENERAT1ON F.C.U and found Generations Federal Credit Union based in San Antonio, Texas. I had never heard of this Credit Union until today. What bank uses a cell phone number to text their customers and then has that same cell phone number as their customer service number? None, that's what. So I called the "customer service" number and it was a jumbled automated voice who didn't identify what bank they were and I could barely understand.
So clearly a scam. I immediately hung up. I just wanted to get this out there in case anyone else received the same message so they would know it's just a scam, don't respond!
