I have been receiving phones calls and so has my family saying that i am in fraud of receiving money from advanced loan company from this number 6102280053 and said his name was either ken or glen parker he said he had my name and my sisters name and he did and my numbers including bank and social which i knew it wasn't true for 2 reasons i never got a loan and i closed the acct out a year ago from the bank he named and i have banked at a totally different bank for over a year now and the info. he gave me was saying loan was months now.
This is another fraud tactic of ppl using PDLs (payday loans) that have been paid off...These scammers hacked into these unsecure websites where ppl have applied online using their personal information. They have harassed me NUMEROUS times this year...IT is not "real fraud" that is their tatic for scaring folks into sending money or paying a loan they already paid in the past...They hararass you for like weeks in a row, then stop for two months, then start again and then stop as if the list is circulating w/your name on it. My friend had the same problem...He contacted the courts and they informed her there is no lawsuit or anything in his name, he applied for Life-Lock which I recommend anyone to do,they scan for any outstanding REAL PDLs in your name and send you that information...When he did that all the loans in his name were marked PAID...so he contacted all of them and they said his accts had been paid in full, and to ignore calls because it was a scam....Unfortunately, economic crisis causes folks to go online and receive quick money into their bank accounts....but the majority of these sites are illegal and unsecure (meaning anyone can get your ss#, your personal info and use if for their own gain). He contacted the numbers (which they call from pre-paid phone cards - - these scammers) and they got all scared and apologizing...So he knew if it was a real lawyer or something they wouldn't be apologizing and would send by Certified Mail any outstanding debt. Plus they call stating they are Police Officers, etc...which they are BREAKING THE LAW....so do not be fooled by these indian accents callers...or woman trying to speak good english calling..Report to the Attorney General office and keep all the calls on record to prove how many times they harass you...Now they are trying to get smarter w/their msgs and not threaten the person over the phone anymore, just leaving a call back # w/no name or company name...PLEASE BE WARE!!!!! THEY ARE NOT REAL LAW ENFORCERS!!!!!! I recommend you tell your friend to submit a police report....Especially if you are being harassed at your place of employment.... Good Luck! Take care
I have received calls all week at home on my voicemail by two different people with different names but giving the same phone number. I have anonymous call rejection on my phone and these are coming in as unknown callers. I called the phone company and obviously they are hacking into the phone system. They said they have had a lot of people calling them about this. They are scammers. This time said they were filing and something about a subpeona but he was messing up so badly trying to get out what he wanted to say. Big time scammers. One time they called before 8 a.m. and it is against the law to call before 8 a.m. and after 9 p.m. I called the phone number back and you get a voicemail saying the person at this number cannot be reached. He was so tongue twisted and very bad accent. BIG TIME SCAMMERS.
I blocked my number out and called this number, someone answered as "how may I help you". I just sat there and he kept saying "how may I help you". I still not say a word and then he you are very lucky and then hung up. I tried to trace this number and would not give me any information about it other than it is in Pennsylvania.
