Call came at 5:44 pm (central). I did not recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail. They left no message but I have been HARRASSED by other callers recently and even have an FCC complaint in the works against one so I did a little digging on the number and found all these posts. It's enough to make you wish you'd never heard of a telephone!!! If I don't know you, I'm NOT answering and I'm turing off the ringer after 9 pm!
This is one of the many numbers used by the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) to beat you over the head for donations. Call came at 8:22pm, 8-22-07.
This Mulitple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) phoned here today for an individual (an older gentleman by the way) who no longer worked here. Then they asked me, "Who would be in charge of a community project?" I know what that means. I said, "Heck if I know", and hung up. According to Charity Navigator, this MSAA only has a 1-star rating out of 4 stars with a lowly 34.5 charity rating. Some 41% of the money they raise goes to "expenses"--but they have assets of over 4.175 Million Dollars! Slick pros. Somebody is sure getting rich, and it ain't people with MS.
