Caller ID displays "Avondale" or "Avondale PA" I receive many calls from this number. I ignore most of them.
For the few that I have answered I can hear sounds of many people talking in the background, as if from a large call center.
Two weeks ago, someone from this number called to try and sell me on a visit from a representative of a business consulting company known as "SMS." When I informed the caller that I was familiar with SMS, and was not interested, they rudely and abruptly terminated the call.
Today another caller from the same telephone number, with the same Caller ID information displayed, telephoned to introduce me to a company known as "GRS." When I asked why two weeks ago it was SMS and today it was GRS the telephone rep had no answer. When I described the rude caller from two weeks ago he apologized (on their behalf), thanked me for my information and politely ended the call.
When I searched Google for both SMS and GRS I found listings for business services companies. Included in those search results were MANY complaint listings. This leaves me very suspicious of both of these companies.
Same thing here. At least once a week we get a call. Caller ID always the same number and comes up SMS, but the business changes all the time. Today the company was not SMS, or GRS, it was GPS. Not a warm fuzzy feeling about legitimacy.
Just received a call again receiving 1 every day now. Asking for the owner when I ask them for their name and phone number they will not give it to me and state they will call back
