got a call asking for someone else. i can hear commotion in the background similar to telemarketing calls. they said they were not a tm firm and asked for the number they called so they wouldn't call again. they would not give information about wh othey were, even when asked twice.
Several years later, I get a call from Wells Fargo. My mother, recently passed and had an account, so I answered it. Guy was VERY nice. Asked for my late husband or me by name, which I thought was strange. Then asked me about my neighbors. I said they lived next door. He said he had a non working number and did I have the correct one. I said, no l only see them occasionally. (Left out the fact that my kids grew up with thiers and now my grandchild is growing up with thier's. My daughter sees them quite a bit outside while the kids play!) He did ask if I could give them a message, left me his name and number. But he said he was Wells Fargo, caller ID said he was from Wells Fargo, so I gave my neighbors the message. I'm thinking they are legitimate and he was very, very nice, however I still didn't hand him thier phone number.
