Logged into my computer and a pop-up stating they were macprotectionalert.com. And I needed to call them immediately and provide the error code they gave me so they could scan and resolve the potential threats to my banking and internet activity. I called Mac and they said to delete the pop-up and try to block it.
The only way we could get rid of the pop-up and regain internet access was to create a duplicate of the browser program and delete the original browser.
