Same thing here. Called at 5:30 and wanted a 1 time donation for children of officers that were killed in the line of duty.
I said no thank you ...there was no response on the other end of the phone from him.
Same thing. claimed to be national police association and i think it was a recorded automated response system. when i asked a question it would reply with a non-specific response
Called at 4:45 this afternoon. Called them back and got a message that all agents were busy with other customers but one would be with me shortly. I waited a minute but no one took the call. Last time I got one of those bogus police retirement funds, I told them to stop killing black people and maybe I'd donate. That left them at a loss for words.
Called at 2:15 p.m. Today....said they were calling on behalf of police officer widow and their children and could they send me a form in the mail and a one only time donation. I told the guy that I quarentee that this would not be a one only time, because people like you call over and over again...and then you sell my phone number for profit. Asked him if he's ashamed uses a Officer widow name for their on profit...also asked if it's legit how can the caller id say Discount 4 U...told him to not call me again.....he hung up on me.
