I'm also on the national Do Not Call List. I got the same recorded message about lowering my credit card rates. I hung up the first two times they called, but I decided to mess with them this time. The operator who answered said any Visa or MasterCard could apply for this offer. He hung up when I told him I didn't have either of those cards.
I am in the no call list. I saw I had a miss call. When call back saw that was Hypnotic chat. I will complaint with FCC specially since I have small children and they may have sexual content.
Caller left a vm about lowering my credit card interest rate, and that this was a final offer; when I returned the call a voice message stated the caller refused to accept it. Strange, since I wanted to refuse their call and got it anyway. Scum!
Got a call this evening from this number 610-404-3141. Didn't answer it & they didn't leave a message. I am on the DO NOT CALL List! So I don't want these calls coming in! I don't answer calls if I don't know the number. And I never call the numbers back.
Received a phone call at 8:59p ET on 12/21/2009 from "Unknown Name", 610-404-3141. I answered it thinking it was a call I was expecting. Call said to press nine to lower the interest rates on my credit accounts. I pressed nine and the marketer who answered asked if I pressed nine to lower my interest rates. I replied, hesitantly said, "Yes" ." Then I was asked if I carried a balance on my credit cards or if I paid them off every month. Again, I hesitantly and slowly replied, "I carry a balance sometimes". Then, the person hung up. So unfriendly and most unprofessional!
