Same here..what is going on? This guy keeps calling and leaving messages saying he is trying to get ahold of my friend who is having a lawsuit filed on her. He said she gave him my # to reach her at. How did he get my #? I told him to stop calling or I will sue THEM for harrassment! no calls since lol
Here's the weird part. "Peter Jackson" called my phone asked for my husband. He wasn't available and I asked what it was about. He said it was about me. He didn't know he was talking to me. He left me a message and he knows the last 4 digits of my social. He has been calling my 17 y/o brother saying he is going to be arrested if he doesn't tell me to call them back. He knows my brothers legal name, that he is my brother. My brother has a boost phone. How does he know the connection? I called the FBI and they will not do anything. I have to go to the local sheriffs office, the call the FCC and see where it goes.
guy repesented himself as an "officer' and that he had a warrent for my arrest that he would send an officer to my homr of place of employment to arrest me, sounds like he is in a cave
This whole thread sounds like hostile debt collection through illegal threats. If the caller is within the U.S. you can beat them silly in court for the bad behavior. If it's another faux payday collector from overseas, your options are limited to complaint filing.
