Received a few calls from this company. I asked for their name and address but will not provide it. I also asked for specifics and they won't provide it. They have my number, called family members as well. They say money owed fromn 1009.
I did some research and apparently if I specifically told them not to contact family members they cannot do so as long as they have a valid number for me which they do. In addition, they keep threatening to subpoena me as well as my family members if I don't provide a card number. They still won't give me name and address of their company and when you call back it's always the same lady who answers with no company name.
Said her name was Tracy Thomas. Said my sister in law had a pending complaint agains her SS and ID. Something about....mediations office...identity theft...waive right to counsel....
They're a SCAM....DO NOT pay. My attorney looked them up after they had to give me money back. Its for LCS...Landon Credit Solutions that what was on my billing statement. They have 2 offices. One in TX and the other one is coming up in Charlotte NC. It has Shawntae Maxwell, Landon Depue and Akesha Balknight on the website.... They are a scam.
I spoke with a Ms Jones that sounded very unprofessional and "urban".
I'm sorry you you're upset. We are certainly not a scam. We are a legitimate debt collection agency. If we were trying to scam you for a debt that YOU owe we wouldn't have refunded your money and reported the balance on YOUR credit report. Please check your report and maybe arrange an affordable payment plan. Check your credit. Have a nice day!
