Has called multiple times with no voicemail. Based on what I am reading now, will not answer but has called 3 times in the last 2 days with no VM. Would appear to be solicitor or worse based on above.
this is the number of synygy, in PA. they offer you lots of "free" services, but the tradeoff is that they call you every week or so. they apparently aren't allowed to leave voicemail - i have been screening my calls and not picking up when i see their number. apparently my manager has done this as well, since a lot of the calls i get from them are just asking whether my manager is in the office.
The person calling from this number is a Scammer. He is attempting to acquire personal information from his target. Hang up.....do not answer any questions from this person.
Caller asked to speak with Human Resources to verify employment for a bank. When told they would be transferred to a recording giving instructions on how to verify employment online, they hung up. Suspicious. usually bank callers are far more articulate than this caller.
Now that I've read the other posts, it makes sense. They use the "employment verification" scam to get past screening. Are they not aware that using false pretenses to gain personal information can be a felony?
