I blocked after googlimg. Some report it as IRS scam, others as alarm co wanting to put sign in your yard. Just didn't answer. I have burglar alarm system. Used to, just to agitate alarm callers, I wrould answer and tell them my son worked for them and I already had an alarm!!
Some would hang ip. Others were so stupid, they just kept on talking. I've been told to get a shrill whistle and blow in the phone. ??
This number rang in with no caller ID name, which is pretty much a dead give-away for spam calls, so I let it roll over to voice mail. The caller hung up without leaving any message. There is a place in HELL reserved for these clowns.
Andrea Clark said they were looking for "ad houses" and wanted to provide a free home security system in exchange for a little sign in my yard. She then started phishing for info - "are you the homeowner"? When I asked her to remove my # from her call list, she did not reply but the line went quiet. What losers!
Immediately switched the scam call to tracers who claim they can hunt down and beat the [***] out of these low life scumbags. I hope it is true. because they deserve it.
Four calls yesterday, one the day before (Sunday) at 8:14 AM, and so far three calls today. All hang ups after reaching our answering machine. My advice: never pick up. It verifies that a person is at that address, probably the one they have info on.
