You do know that they can call from your own number to your cell phone which they spoof or or any other number in your state and other states, right? Put your home phone on vacation + do not disturb voice mail mode and find a recording on this dark web that states your phone is a non working number. In addition, max out your voice mail box with music and make it say full. YOU WILL NEVER HEAR THE PHONE AGAIN! But you may have to get into your voice mail once a month and "renew" your music voice mail messages. You now have a landline phone that is only outgoing for whatever private information calls you want to keep off the cell phone. Now, the cell phones are easier, you can only let callers you know ring the phone and block the rest. Every SPAMMER that goes through my cell phone gets blocked never leaves a message anyway.I can't figure out why SPAMMERS used to leave messages on my home phone and not my cell phone but this works for me. You could also pay for a service with the landline and only let in calls from close friends too but I'm not giving them another dime.
