Called a few times, never left any message, when I did pick up with a HELLO, asked for me by name and said they were a company in my area.., offering me a free roof inspection, I then just hung up. My guess is all of you/me that are being called, live in an area that had a bad hail storm within the last year!
They identify themselves as roofers and say they'll be in my area next week and would like to do a complimentary roof inspection. Background noise indicates its from a call center op.
Have been receiving calls from this number at least six times a day for the past few weeks. Caller ID states " FIA Card Services". No message ever left, and 99% of the time no one on the other end when I do answer the phone. Only once did someone say they were a roofing company in the area. Told them to remove my number from their list, but the calls continue.
This number is a storm chaser they have called her 15 times in one day. Do not give them information, was told by my roofer they will damage your roof just to get work or tie you into a contract with them. my husband has now told them again we are on the do not call list.
This number has called 16 times since the 27th of July. I tried to make a complaint to the donotcall.gov web site and that number is not registered.What are we to do about this constant harassment from these scumbags.I never answer but not everyone has Caller ID including my 85 year old mother.The FTC knows about these nuisance callers but does NOTHING! Can my Congressman make a complaint on my behalf? I am so frustrated as I'm sure many others are also.
