I got this EXACT message left on my voicemail as well.  They're just trying to switch you to THEIR electric provider, which may not be the lowest provider available.

NEVER switch providers who call YOU on the phone.  You have NO IDEA who they may really be!  Use the official website and then call the provider with the lowest fixed price and the least conditions (beware of fees for cancelling!)

got a call asked for Mike.  I said you got the wrong number and he said sorry I dialed the wrong number and hung up .  name on the caller ID was the phone number.

Got a call from this number saying " hi this is tom, is mike around?" i said no and he hung up. [***] scammer!

Caller said, " This is Tom, is Mike around?."  Told him he had wrong # & he hung up. What do they get by doing this?
