This number comes in on my caller I.D. at least once a day for my ex-brother in-law and I can't seem to speak with anyone to get them to stop calling me! I am tired of getting calls from this number and I don't know how to make them stop calling my number.
This is Burton Neil & Associates, a law firm that collects credit card debt on behalf of credit card companies and debt buyers. Their address is 1060 Andrew Drive, Suite 170, West Chester, PA 19380.
This company has left repeated messages. They're short and in a muffled (intoxicated like) voice. Unable to understand the message (woman's voice). Sounds like Muff Mouth from the Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids cartoon (that type of voice pattern). The number they're calling is registered in the National DNC Registry. I filed a complaint against them on the DNC Web site. I'm also going to see how to bring this matter to the PA State Bar's attention.
I've had sevaral calls from this and other firms claiming to be a collection agency. They are lawyers looking to collect a debt that they claim you owe to someone. If you are getting calls saying you owe money to anyone or if you've gotten letters with the same demand for payment, turn the tables on them. Demand that they VALIDATE-it is important to use the term VALIDATE-their claim with original documentation with your signature and to cease all collection attempts until they comply. This is a professional collection agency that employs lawyers and they WILL sue you, no questions asked.
