I got the same call and Jerry Miller knows my email id as well.

He was asking for $1700 to be paid to IRS.

Please let me know your action.

I got the call from 610-707-2704.
He was saying that I owe some $1700 to IRS and want me to pay back else I would have to go to court and pay more.

I asked him to send the notice to me and hanged the phone.

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.
