received a call at my work looking for a former employee of our company. I explained the person no longer works for us. He was rude, talked over me and would not take my word on this. Called me :Darling and told me I was *F---- lying to him. Some Indian dude name Shawn (don't think this was he correct nam). What a tool. I asked him what company he work for and he answered my question with who I was. After approx 6 times of this I finally just kept picking up and hitting all buttons on the phone. Then it became a game with this person. I am sorry for the person he is looking for. Tried to do a search by phone and nothing came up. He is the most unmannered, rude person I have ever dealt with. WHAT A TOOL
Received call from a Brad Nelson regarding employee. Saying there's a problem with her social number and needing her to call. Called back within two hours, again was informed employee not here; then threatened there's legal action and workplace has also been named. Stated he was from the legal department in the State of Pennsylvania, but that's all. Requested he fax the information and we would look into the situation ourselves. Nothing came through fax - he then called back and left a message that the fax wouldn't go through and I had to call him within the hour. Called back to this number, straight to what must have been a voice mail - said extension 304551 not available - didn't leave a message.
We also received messages during the month of June from a number in California where a similar scam seems to be brewing. Both callers have heavy Indian accent and are difficult to understand.
This person has called our office over thirty times today. He was so rude, calling people [***], asking for us by name. We gave a complant to the police dept.
This person called our business for an ex employee over 30 times today. He used the name Nick Wilson & Marshall Edwards. Does not believe us that they are not here, uses profanity and claims that we are lying. Filed a police report and provided the number to the police. The police called the number and the person who answered told them that they did not care that they were the police and would still be calling the number. The police officer is now mad at them as well.
I did talk with the ex employee and they had been called and spoke with them a few days prior at a different number. They supposedly claimed that there is a problem with their social security number on some paperwork and needed to verify the number, she hung up on them.
We belive that a few weeks ago this ex employee had been researching loans online and may have provided name and telephone contact information to a website which is now calling back a couple of weeks later acting as if they had somthing to do with the paperwork "fishing" for information.
