This number was on my credit card statement -- unauthorized activity -- along with another charge on the same day, occuring in my normal area but when I was out of town.

When I called the fraud line for my bank, the person I spoke with indicated she's been seeing a lot of Friend Finder disputes lately.

Best bet is to close the account & report the fraud.

i joined a number of dating sites last year and have only just realized that they all charge automatic monthly renewals until YOU cancel them.

Friend Finder is the last one I need to cancel but I can't remember which site it was.

I've complained to two other sites about taking money out automatically not there's anything I can do as it's in their terms and conditions.

I didn't think I was that much of a dummy too!

My AARP VISA was charged $26.99 on 2/4/09. I check my credit card account on line at least once a week. That is how I found it. I have no idea how they got my credit card number. I only shop on secure sites & am VERY careful when surfing. I reported it this morning to VISA. I am going to call the number & give them a piece of my mind.
