I recently got a scam call from the Caribbean on my cell at 2 in the morning! It only rang twice. Scared the crap out of my family. I'm glad l didn't call the number back. After checking with this site, l learned the call would've cost me $20 for first minute, and $10 for each additional minute! I called my cell provider--Verizon--and they blocked the number for 90 days. No more disruptions in the middle of the night! You should do the same with this number.
Received a text saying I won a cruise to the Bahamas. I ACTUALLY CALLED THEM BACK and a very enthusiastic woman answered "Hi I'm assuming you're calling about the exciting trip you have won!? Who am I speaking with?"
I replied with "I did get a text earlier saying I won something, and I'm just curious as to how you got my phone number and could you please remove me immediately from your call list so I never get any more spam from you again?"
She hung up on me right as I was saying the last word of my sentence. I tried calling back 3 more times and the call won't connect at all anymore, I get an immediate call ended error on my phone. Hopefully I was removed. Maybe I'll just make a free google phone number and keep changing it and calling her back just to troll her. Hmmmmmmm
I called them back and the girl said, "I see you are interested in our cruise offer." This was the OPENING line. I said, "What I am really interested in is you removing me from your call list." She immediately hung up and I have since not been able to connect when calling back. Almost like I got a scammer to block MY number. That's pretty damn cool.
