received a message from a samual bishop to say he was calling from a legal dept and that a case was pending against my name i took his name and number and told him i would be contacting the attorney general;s office and he said i can call who i want and that they would start legal action. this guy spoke with a indian accent
Received a phone call at my place of employment from an officer Dominic Spencer from American Legal Services saying to contact him immediately as there is a serious claim against my social and he wants to provide me with documentation regarding the legal case against me before it goes before the court .
The scammers always say they're "officer" this or that.... which is illegal. "Serious claim against" your SSN? That's another favorite of the scammers. Also, if you were going to be served with papers (sued), a court process server would just serve the papers, not call you ahead of time. Feel free to ignore the calls, and report to the FTC and your state's Attorney General.
