This number needs to be exposed as a scam line, a land line provided by Verizon North, Inc.--PA (Contel dba Verizon Pennsylvania, 1717 Arch St., Philadelphia, PA 19103-2787) to DISPATCH ANS SV located on S. 4th St. near Railroad St., Emmaus, PA 18049, where you press 2 for driver job, 3 for escort job or 4 for starting your own escort agency. Pressing 3 or 4 reaches a voice mailbox only. Alternatively, 610-967-9888 has also appeared on Internet porn ad's and registries as "Phone Sex Center." The driver message is about 15 minutes long with an elaborate explanation of why applicants need to wire $930 before starting work as early as that evening, promising money back after 4 runs. Alternatively, a callback could be as a result of leaving a message at 888-280-6241, a voice mailbox only. Recently, a 404-295-1907 number in Atlanta, GA was used and the driver message contains a 336 number not being used now, but these numbers may be rotated. "Tom" returned my call immediately from 310-595-6663 (Caller ID Name "California Call," a land line provided by MCI Metro ATS, Inc., 2300 Meijer Drive Troy, MI 48084, 248-280-3866 to "Tanya" located in Anaheim 92801 or on Burton Way near N. Crescent Dr., Beverly Hills, CA), describing himself as a 57-year-old military veteran who has 25 escort agencies. The bottom line is a flurry of phone calls, incoming and outgoing, to rush one into wiring money, then proceeding to a public place for a "meet and greet," calling him when a block away, by which time, finding out later, that the money was already picked up, but he does not call back with identifying information to meet anyone, lets calls go to voice mail, then mailbox full, nor will he answer blocked calls. I lost $850 and spent about $1,000 altogether for nothing recently. It turns out that similar ad's were posted on craigslist.org, backpage.com, etc., in about 35 U.S. cities, from Eugene (OR) to Daytona and from Maine to Sacramento, including Honolulu.

I saw this ad on backpage also, in Salt Lake City.  I called the number listened to the "job description" then descided that it would be a very bad idea to call them back.  The ad they left on back page had a different number to call them back at than the one in the message it was: 214-542-4230.  I would suggest not calling it either.  I've enclosed the original message:

I would highly advise everyone to not call either of these numbers!!

Reported to Craigslist and www.IC3.gov the internet agency working with the FBI. This guy is an old pro at this CON-trick. Below is all the info currently running on Craigslist. They have many layers of players for isolation and it would be safe to say they are running about 30K to 50K of
ripped off cash through Western Union daily. They tell you to use the test question and answer as opposed to making them use an I.D.
I sent my cash to Robert Barnwell in Carrboro,NC and it was picked up in Raleigh,NC moments after I sent it. The "TEST QUESTION" is BRANCH OF SERVICE? The answer is MARINE. The AD running now on Craigslist Phoenix,AZ
Adult Gigs is below. STAY AWAY from these types of Ads. Sure wish the good folks at the FBI, Craigslist, Western Union, and WWW.IC3.gov would pick up the ball on this one and put an end to this scam. Yes greed played a role in this on my part. Now I have to explain to my wife and daughter where the grocery money went. Desparate times in America call for desparate measures. Too late for me but don't do as I did. If my estimation is close they could be running well over a MILLION a month through Western Union. How big does a criminal enterprise need to be before somebody gives us a hand in the old USA.
