some one with a strong accent claimming to be a debt collector, calling numerous times to my place of employent, friends and relatives. Harrasing and threatening to take me to court and jail.
THIS IS A SCAM.......This person calling himself Mike (he sounds like it middle eastern person). He called my job at least 20 times per day trying to exhort money from me...DO NOT EVEN TALK TO THEM.
A person claiming to be Dan Rogers with a very thick foreign accent called our buisness demanding to talk to one of our night shift employees. He was both disrespectful and arrogant and when I asked to speak to his supervisor he informed me that he was the supervisor.
I received a call at work from this number. A supervisor was told that they had a legal claim against me and my company. When i called back I got a recording that stated they where niot available and to leave a message. Within 2 minutes of hanging up I received a call back from the company. I was told by a man with an Indian accent that I would need to speak to his supervisor. He transferred me to another man with an Indian accent. He advised me that I had an outstanding payday loan and needed to pay. I asked for the date and company that the loan was with. he could not advise. I ask to verify the account information and he gave me my account number. He told me that I was being charged with fraud and that I needed to pay. I advised that in order to be fradulent I would have to pretend to be someone else and I was not. He refeused to send me any information via mail. Said that he did not have to. He told that I would lose my job and go to jail. He was extremely rude when I refused to cooperate. This is a scam.. Be aware!!!
