If I'm the home owner and pay more than $150 a month for Electricity, they are going to keep me from the rate increase. Yeah, sure they are. They left this message, but I won't be calling them back.
This time caller ID comes back to Go Green. These scammers keep calling, sometimes leaving a pre recorded message about saving money on my electric bill. They are calling a number registered on the DNC list which apparently doesn't make a difference. I keep blocking their numbers and they just spoof another. Effing Ba$tards.
Called my DNC registered cell. I don't pick up calls to my cell that aren't in contacts. I've been getting a lot of calls to my cell and landline from Amityville, NY. This time they left this 38 second message.
“US renewable energy program. The US renewable energy program will stop the 14% rate increase on your electricity bill coming soon. Press 1 now if you are a homeowner and are paying more than $150 per month for electricity. Press 1 now to stop the electricity bill increase coming soon. Again press 1 now if you are a homeowner and pay more than $150 per month for electricity and would like to stop the rate increase and if we have reached you in error and you want to be taken off the list press 3.”
I've been getting this call from a hundreds of numbers over the last 3 years. Lately they've been using or spoofing local numbers hoping you won't ignore unknown area codes and localities.
