Called my DNC registered cell. I don't pick up calls to my cell that aren't in contacts. No voicemail. BLOCKED!
This is the same caller who has been inundating our cells and landline for a month or more. Every few days, after a few uses, they use a new (631) 201-XXXX number.
This is the transcript of a message left by one of their other numbers. I've been hearing this same robo voice for several years from numbers around the country. The last month they've honed in on using or spoofing local numbers or (716) numbers from up state NY.
“US renewable energy program. The US renewable energy program will stop the 14% rate increase on your electricity bill coming soon. Press 1 now if you are a homeowner and are paying more than $150 per month for electricity. Press 1 now to stop the electricity bill increase coming soon Again, press 1 now if you are a homeowner and pay more than $150 per month for electricity and would like to stop the rate increase. And if we have reached you in error and you want to be taken off the list press 3.”
I have been receiving calls twice a day from this same block of numbers. Never leaving a message.
