I got a text from the above number claiming to be my bank and that I should follow their link to update my security information and password. Just so it's known, banks never ever text customers.
Text message about someone's system upgrade requiring account verification, supposedly from Tangerine, which is the online bank owned by Scotiabank. Seeing as I don't bank with either, obviously spam/phishing. Link posted is: bit.do/c5iB8 Do not reply or click on any link for this type of message.

which contains a fake Tangerine log in page which appears to be hosted
on a Russian server, which was registered in Mexico, to somebody with
a disposable e-mail address in Laos!
