I just received a call from this number as well. It was a recording , I didn't catch everything they said but the recording stated that I was also in legal trouble and to get a lawyer.
Got a call from this number claiming a certain Officer Craig or Greg Williams from the Investigation Department of CRA. He stated that I or my lawyer should call back this number and that I should not ignore it for the issue at hand is time sensitive. Continuing his message that If I don't call back, all he could wish for me is goodluck. First thing I asked myself is why the number he wanted me to call is not 1-800 number and then I started typing this number in google, just to check if there are other incident as mine and thats how I found this site, thank you to all who have shared their experiences. At least people will be aware. I do find they have a very aggresive tone on those voice messages. If they called someone who are not aware that this fraud exist then there will always be victims.
I got called also.Same name and message as you. It is a scam. Shishhh wish people would have better things to do with their spare time instead of trying to scam people.
