I just received the same message today. They said their name was John Parker and that it was time sensitive. Tried calling back to give a piece of my mind, but it rang then went to a busy tone... most likely a scam.
Got the threatening call from John Parker of the CRA asking for "you" or "your attorney of record." His voice was Asian. My finances are pristine, so I knew it was a scam. Sounds like this guy is making the rounds. He is probably scaring some people, and annoying everyone else. I hope he gets caught and deported.
I got 2 phone messages this afternoon March 15 @ 2:03 and 4:53 from someone who referred to himself as CRA Officer John Parker and this was time sensitive and do not ignore this call and to call him back at 647-247-1708. This sound was poor quality/ the lad was too close to the speaker and seemed to speak with a lisp. Each time the caller was unable to complete his message- his message was too long for my system. I did call this number from a blocked phone and the number is not in service.
