i got a text on Friday from this number. Monday I got the same text from a different number 416-721-1894. I live in Calgary AB and both of these numbers are from Toronto On.
Rule of thumb if the offer sounds to good to be true than it probably is fake.
This number is listed on a covering letter associated with an advance fee scam for mystery shopping ('Evaluation Survey' - 'GW Finance'). There is also a fax number stated on the letter: 647-498-1104. There will also be a fake cheque contained within the letter - don't attempt to deposit the cheque, and certainly DON'T transfer any money if you do deposit it in your bank (inquire with you bank on whether the cheque has truly cleared)
