Called me, i answered. Caller and claimed to be a part of MADD launching a new campaign and asked for donation. Really persistent, she even said donating even $50, or $35 or $25 goes a long way. As soon as I heard those values I already knew this was a scam.
This number just called me. I picked up and she didn't even mention my name Once. She kept on pushing for donation of 25$, 35$ for impaired driving, and told me she can give me a receipt as well. She provided different payment methods, and when I asked her where she got my number from she gave me another 1800 number to call. This is a scam call for sure, nobody else is more eager to get your 'donation' over the phone
Interesting.. I just got out of court as a witness in a drunk driving case. Got a call from this number immediately after, didn't answer.. No message left.
