One day after I uploaded a resume to Monster.ca for a local job, I get an call from this Toronto number (name comes up as Shalom Tn) telling me about job opportunities "in Vancouver BC". Couldn't make out the name due to his accent. A proper recruiter would never add "BC" after Vancouver, it's just assumed that when you call someone in Vancouver, they will know which Vancouver you're talking about. Also, they called at 7:30 in the morning. THERE'S A THREE HOUR TIME DIFFERENCE, YOU TORONTO IDIOTS.
