Voicemail, pre-recorded (woman's voice with British accent), without calling. Probably debt collection (I have been getting a lot from EOS, though I have no reason to believe that I might owe anyone anything and also have a name so rare in this city that it cannot be mistaken for someone else's). Do not know how these goons got my number, but have blocked every one of theirs.
The [***] behind it all is Bell, don't forget they bought the company a couple of years ago and they made subtil changes that make them more money cause they consider they making less with Virgin ways. My problem happened when I changed my "stick" last fall (sept.2013), with a phome with more features. I was not on my new phone for more than 1 week when the harassement began. And worst, I am not receiving any phone call for the last couple of weeks, but who-ever is calling me is getting CHARGED for it. What about, all the peoples who bothered to write here, join and sue the [***] (bell) cause they are responsible for the service, up to them to prove that they are Not and give us the who ever is?
I have this problem since last sept.2013. Every time I open my phone, within the second, there a new voicemail to call 6473832333 or else. That what it seems, since all my phone calls are diverted for last 15 days. But peoples are beeing charged for making those calls. Yes, I tried to change the status of those voicemail, but I am prevented to do so and that when I stopped receiving my calls. But I keep receiving the voicemail. This afternoon I tried, to locate whoever that was, and now
there is no name to find for the phone number( I swear to gods, there was one name last fall which I fail to write down). I doubt very much that both Virgin and Bell are not aware about it, but it suits them well, why fix it.
Why would you have to call Virgin to set up those 3 "call forwarding", it is none of there "bloody" business where you or me want our phone calls forwarded, if we want it so....But you don't say wether it fixes your harassment problem...
It won't work, cause it is firware, it is done automatically as you open your phone (turn on). IT IS BUILT IN but someone is profiting from it, Virgin and Bell, neither one will fix it
