I just got off the phone with these guys; a live phone operator, they called asking for a donation to the "National Firefighters Curling League, to help with muscular dystrophy research"
I receive calls from this number frequently but there is never a message left. The information I get is that they are a debt collection agency? I have none so why am I getting these calls?

I got a call by that number twice yesterday and once this morning i don't answer because don't know number and it rings as long distance i know 647 is not long distance so they never leave message getting very annoyed.
1-647-435-0102 is a number who called my disabled sisters number asking for a $20 donation for the Canadian Fire Fighters curling association. they are very pushy, my little sister is mentally delayed and does not understand some things, they asked her for a donation she said "no sorry I can not afford it right now" they asked her "why not" she said "I dont have money right now" the person on the phone then replied "well you can send us a postdated cheque" she then told them "I will have to speak to my brother 1st and ask him if its ok" they then said "why do you need to ask him" etc etc etc.. these guys then managed to convince her to danate $20 by check. which we will not be sending out due to the fact she is not authorised to make those choices, I am her legal guardian and power of attorney for her financial choices. there is no contact number to talk to anyone, if you call the number back it goes right to voice mail. and if you hit 0 to speak to operator you get put on hold saying they will be right with you. 2 times i called i was on hold 10 minutes and 20 minutes with no one answering. there is nothing online about filing complaints to the call center who handles this. because its obiously a call center if the number you had call you was at one time a collections aggency and now they are asking for donations. I think the canadian firefighters curling association needs to pick thier call center for askin for donations a bit better in the future because they employees will not take no for an answer unless they get a "yes i will donate"
