Just got a call from this number.... a man (with a really thick Indian Accent) replied a few seconds after I said hello and asked for me by name, although he mispronounced it. When I asked what I could do for him he said he was calling from a local.... the rest was garbledygook. I said pardon me? and he said yes. I said no sorry where are you calling from? and he said pardon? then I asked again where are you calling from? he said Canada..... I hung up
This number 646-495-9156 called into Ottawa !5 April 2013 at 3:13 pm. No one answered at pick up , so I hung up before the robocaller switched to the live person. Appreciate the info on this site suggesting that this is some kind of scam .
