I have been getting a call from this number for over a month now! Always shows the number, never a company name. They call EVERY day and NEVER leave a message. I NEVER pick up if I don't know who's calling. I agree with the person who wrote if they want to be taken seriously they should leave a message - I also believe they should show their company name if they want to be taken seriously. 50% (or more) of the people out there, don't answer if they don't know who is calling......
It's BS that they are calling on behalf of RBC, as I already have RBC insurance on my mortgage already - so leave me alone already!
Can anyone confirm that getting on their do not call list actually works???
They call several times every day, never leave a message. Starts at 9 AM and goes on until nearly 10 PM. Answered once and the lady claimed to be calling on behalf of RBC about something (she couldn't tell me what exactly) non-urgent dealing with our bank account but also did not know our names. Leads me to believe it was either a scam or hired out telemarketing to try and get us to add more useless crap onto the account.
They claim to be from RBC which is weird because the name does not appear on my caller ID except the number. Normally when RBC calls their name appear on the screen and they use toll free number. The guy was talking about a product use to protect consumer with identity theft.
