Got two calls this morning within one hour from a man saying he is John Parker from CRA. He needs me or my attorney to call back immediately about time sensitive matter. He left a no. 647-547-8348 to call back.
What a scammer. Just ignore it!
Half an hour ago I got a call from the number 647 547 8348. The caller said that he is calling from CRA. He said that my son has to pay $4650 to CRA. The police will come to you house within half an hour to arrest my son. If you come to Markham City Council and pay the full amount to him, he will safe my son. I just ignore the call.
Exact same thing as everyone else is describing. 1-647-547-8348 "Officer John Parker" from CRA called with a recorded message that was urgent, etc. I phoned and could tell by the guy's accent it was him. He started going into his explanation of there being an arrest warrant out for me. I told him if he really is CRA, send me a registered letter. He began to refute and I hung up. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER IF THEY PHONE YOU. CRA communicates by mail.
He left a message on my answering machine; said he was Officer John Parker and I must call back, that it is a bout a very time sensitive matter and that if he didn't hear from me or my attorney well, he would just wish me good luck. Definite fraudster, and a lame one at that.
