Get three calls from them EVERYDAY! I have blocked them so it doesn't ring when they call. The first time they called they asked for me and said it was from Mastercard, I said that the person was not available and blocked them.
Why in the world does this bloody government let Bell Canada hand out frigging telephone number that are some darn company hidding behind phone number to embarassed people to try and sell them extra warranty . Guess what any stupid company being an [***] with me will never again have any sales with me and if everybody would do the same these pricks would stop calling everyone because they would not be in business anymore.
How unsettling when a caller asks for me by name, then when I reply that he is speaking to me, I get: "Thank you very much. Goodbye!" No questions, no sales pitch, nothing to identify themselves. What/Who now knows that this is my phone number and my name? And why? Very unsettling!!
Got a call yesterday asking for me by name, when I asked who is calling they hung up.
Got another call today again asking for me by name, when I asked who is calling again they said it was Presidents Choice Financial Mastercard. The lady (who I think was the same person) went on to ask if I had my bill handy. I responded with put me on your do-not-call list (she said it would take 2 weeks). I then hung up. Right after I called the PC number on there site and the guy confirmed they do not own this number.
This number is calling my cell twice a day for the last 4 and never once has left a message. I refuse to answer any numbers I don't recognize. When I call back all it says is "For English press 1 and French 2" If it's important they will leave a message. I refuse to press any buttons in case it subjects me to anything more.
