je viens tout juste de répondre à ce numéro. Ils m'ont dit que j'étais sélectionné. C'était un message automatique.
J'ai raccroché. Je vais le bloquer.
Jan.13/14 - display seemed to be a Greater Toronto Area code; voice message was left about 'free cruise to Nassau' for the 30-second survey. This is not a real business, but a scam - if you participate, it seems they are trying to get you to visit/purchase a timeshare; but that itself is a scam. The entire set up is a front for organized crime - a key flag is they never provide a company name nor a real person's full name. What they really are after is your name, address, income level, credit info - anything so they can make Fake IDs and do more crime/fraud in your name. It is a computer dialing number after number trying to get a 'live number' - they don't know you, and you are nothing more than a potential 'mark' to them. See the RCMP Top Scams website.
Don't answer, and if you get the recording - just hang up. Same goes for all the fake 30-second surveys; free vacations; won a prize calls. These aren't real companies and don't care about Do Not Call lists; real companies do.
