This is almost certainly a criminal organization operating for the sole purpose of harvesting names and credit card numbers for sale and/or fraudulent use. So far I've been called by them from this phone number (647-557-5068) and two others:

The calls to my cell phone started on February 13. So far, they have always come between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. EST. No two have come from the same phone number, but the recording is always the same. The equipment used by this outfit seems to have the ability to vary its calling number pretty much at random, or is calling from a variety of locations, so the usual technique of blocking them by phone number won't work. Reporting them to the CRTC on their website won't work either, because the caller doesn't identify its organization by name. All we have is the phone number, which is useless. Needless to say, my phone number has been on the CRTC "do not call list" for years, and is currently registered there until 2019, so that's not a factor.
If you've made the mistake of giving this caller your credit card info, I urge you to phone your card issuer immediately and report the situation.
