Same here...my mom got a call from someone claiming their from the CRA and there were several attempts to contact her due to unpaid taxes and they would give us one last chance before they contact Toronto Police. After asking them some pointed questions which they were unable to answer, I ended the call and reported to financial crimes unit (anti-fraud).
Caller left a message claiming to be from revenue Canada. When I returned the call they said they have been trying to get in touch with me over unpaid taxes. They wanted payment immediately over the phone or they would call the police. I have just informed the anti-fraud police.

This is a confirmed fraud ring in Canada, they make claims of immigration issues and taxation issues that will lead to either jailtime or deportation. If you receive a call from this number please report it to the RCMP and your local authorities and ensure that you check your credit report as someone has sold your personal information to them making you a target.
