I keep getting this number coming up on my cellphone, but no message is ever left. The Caller ID shows as 98.1 CHFI, so assuming that is correct why would they be calling other than to try and sell me something.
I also got a call from 647-693-8541whose call display shows "98.1 CHFI". I don't listen to CHFI and I haven't entered any contests. The caller did not leave a message. I phoned CHFI radio station in Toronto (using their published phone number on their website) to ask if this phone number is legitimate and the receptionist said that this is a promo to register for a contest.
This is a unsolicited SPAM call because my phone number is on the national do-not-call list.
Yes they claim I'd be enter to with $500 to $10,000.00 when I ask them what other info besides my name and number, they say my full contact info and they can solicited [***] via email fax....etc NO THX!!! not interested!
Every few months my office receives these calls advertising for the radio station... it's quite annoying. Looks like it has started back up again. I usually tell them Corporate does not authorize radio to be played in the office.
