Got the Best Buy Holiday Overstock Shopping Spree Giveaway $1000 SCAM text today.  It Used http://redeem8.info/m/?geei9j1 for the link.

I just now got this same exact text message. I've entered nothing for any sort of shopping spree.

I also got the same text message last night.  similar link in my message.  http://redeem8.info/m/?1i3cf408 as a link.  I didn't try it.

I just got that same text. Went to callercomplaints.com  and they said this
Spoofed Numbers: Caution, 647-704-7145 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.

how do these companies get private cell numbers? never give my number to ANYONE other than private individuals.

I hope someone can put a stop to the company that did this.
