Got a check from Sam Goodman fake fake. My letter was the same as Pegi above but with a different phone number which was 1-647-2674. I wish we had some way to catch these guys. Also we have blocked calls but they find ways to keep calling with different phone cards. They want give up.
Received letter from CML Financial Brokerage Securities Service from Toronto ONTARIO with Sam Goodman phone #6476852806 and a check for $4920.00 to pay tax and insurance handling. Wow...these scammers are real good, all looked legit...but knowing these type are out there I called Mr. Goodman heard what he had too say, "deposit check and call me back so we can get the taxes paid and arrange to send your winning balance of $241080.00." I promptly looked up the two banks on the check and called them. One Bank, Credit Union South in Biloxi MS wasn't answered but left a message of what I had. The other Bank The Peoples Bank in Biloxi MS answered and check the bank routing numbers on the Cashier's Check and stated no such matching numbers and said it's a scam. That was my first reaction but like I said it looked so real. I'm so poor I certainly could have used a win fall but I don't like being taken so...Mr Goodman you didn't get me!!!! I hope others are wise to this scam nothing worse than taking advantage of elderly individuals who live on Soc. Sec. Glad others had posted info on this to help keep me from being scammed. Peace!
It's May of 2016 and Got same Scam letter from SAM GOODMAN from CML FINANCIAL BROKERAGE SECURTIES SERVICE. They make it look real, but the idiots can't spell. You would know a real Securities firm would spell SECURITIES correctly in their Letter Head.
Same deal, check for over $4000 written on the Bank "The Peoples Bank,,Biloxi, MS., and message to call Sam Goodman to activate check and complete claims process.
With remitter named as Judith Brown Esq.
recieved a check for $3856 drawn on san antonio fed cred union this month nov 2016. prize $250k. cm of north amercia finincial clearing svcs. david scott is this claim oficer @ phone 416-87-0931. $3150 is the handling fee. God said evil gotten gain islike having a bag with holes in it. but to add to that i send a curse on all the perpetrators and their families that poverty, sickness & disease will follow them till they get right w/ God!
