I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, but I was waiting for a return call from someone whose number was unknown to me, so I answered. A familiar voice said "Hi, this is Scott." The voice went on to say he was responding to my inquiry about Social Security disability, which of course, was baloney.  As I started to speak, the voice said, "Can you hear me okay?" I realized that I have gotten this same voice from many numbers around the United States, calling itself Scott and asking if I could hear it okay.  The voice is very clear, and sounds life-like, but it doesn't respond to your conversation, so I think it may be a recording.  Anyway, this is clearly a scammer of some sort, so don't talk to Scott who asks if you can hear him okay.  Blocking the number, for all the good that seems to do.  By the way, this call came from Toronto, not the U.S..
