This number just called. Have had calls from them before, claiming to be "Toronto Mutual Bank". There is NO SUCH Bank in Canada. It isn't found in Google either. Claimed they were selling bank services and could help with my 'rates'. Canadian banks do NOT do telemarketing!
A search on Wikipedia found there WAS a "Toronto Mutual" investment firm that mostly sold life insurance, which was purchased out by Transamerica Life Insurance Canada Corporation - now Transamerica Corporation - a U.S. diversified investment conglomerate with hands in many pies; also selling 'investment services'. Have never called nor dealt with them, so have no clue why a U.S. firm would be phoning Toronto area homes in this way. Verrrry fishy. I wouldn't trust it. Especially when I told the caller last time that there is no such bank and to remove my number from their database in compliance with Canadian Telemarketing Laws.

Thanks, Ramoth. They've been calling us several times everyday from various #s starting with 647-748-5???. There's never been any message left. When I call the # back, it just keeps ringing, no one answers. I tried to block their calls, but they simply call from a new #. Grrrr!
