someone from this number has been calling my number for 6 1/2 years, yes that long. They are looking for someone (not me) and I keep telling them this is my number and I don't know who they are looking for. They call me daily for about 2 weeks straight. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they hang up on me! I don't know how to get through to them that they have the wrong number and to take mine off their records. Any suggestions?
Someone from this number called and asked for me – by first name only, I asked who was calling, he said something like "CDC services" (he mumbled so was not plain) I asked what it was about, he asked to verify my date of birth, I refused to give any information until he identified themselves and the reason for calling. He asked for my address, I told him to give me the address he had and I would confirm or deny. I told him never to call again until I received something in writing indicating what that call was about with detailed information. He said he would call back at a later time, I said NO!
I will not give any personal information until they identify themselves and indicate detailed reason why they are calling. If they refuse, tell them never to call again until this information is received via postal mail!
