Received two calls. The first at the end of June and the second on Friday July 3. Person's voice was that of a young female. She was very aggressive . Called very early in the day(7am,) . The voice was the same each time. The caller requested my birth date and address. I never gave her the information. I do not want to receive any more of these calls. I do not owe any major sum of money to any Bank /or any one in Canada. I hope these calls are her last.
This is CBV Collection Services, in North York ON, they often do collections for major banks. We had this call about a bank account overdraft we forgot about with TD Bank of which they had not sent us anything in the mail about it. Then these calls started coming in. They will call but not say who they are, but want ALL of YOUR personal information to be verified, and that "this call is being recorded for quality purposes", and that "this is about personal business". They try and get to you coming off as extremely official, important, and snotty. I think they live for provoking a response and to get your goat. Just hang up and call your bank or creditor.
